Hafeez, Azhar boycott fitness camp over Amir’s inclusion

LAHORE: Pakistan’s former Twenty20 captain Mohammad Hafeez and the incumbent one day captain Azhar Ali refused to take part in the fitness camp over the inclusion of Mohammad Amir, ARY News reported.

Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali have stated that they will not be a part of any camp in which Mohammad Amir is present.
Misbah-ul-Haq has also raised objections over Amir’s selection in the camp.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had included Mohammad Amir’s name for the fitness camp ahead of the team’s tour to New Zealand and 2016 World Twenty20 in India.
Hafeez had earlier stated that he would also not play alongside Mohammad Amir in the same team in the Bangladesh Premier League.
PCB, in its official statement on Wednesday, stated that many players and commentators oppose the left arm pacer’s selection in the national side.
